Welcome to the new blog for the Bookbinders Collective! We shall be using this blog to keep you updated on upcoming exhibitions and workshops as well as uploading pictures of recent work and how-to videos. Members galleries and contact details can be found under the members menu on the right or by clicking on the relevant name above.

We are really excited to announce that our next event will be a day of workshops on Friday 21st September, 11am-4pm, at the Victoria and Albert Museum as part of London Design Festival 2012. This is a free drop-in session in the Sackler Centre. Throughout the day there will be demonstrations and hands-on workshops as well as an exhibition of recent work and an opportunity to chat with the binders. The line-up so far: Mark Cockram – demonstrating disappearing spine binding, Jo Bird – single section pamphlet binding, Midori Kunikata-Cockram – Japanese stab bindings, Kate Holland – concertina binding. All materials are provided. All ages and abilities welcome.
